Ahh… spring already?… OHHH SPRING BREAK!!! I’M FINALLY ON BREAK!!! Sorry not doing anything but enjoying myself… so that’s why I didn’t update. So today I take few hours of my time bringing you spring anime news. For some reason I just know them. Although kinda think about it, considering owning 80+ series but only watched maybe under 10, that might the reason I know a lot about them. Too bad I’m not into it, since no time on my part. So for the people have time, here are my personal lists.

Ever heard of Kino’s Journey? Well アリソンとリリア is written by same author. Although the difference is that, the title are from two novels. One is called Allison, which has only four volumes and the other is called Lillia and Trace contain six volumes. So I’m guessing the two story is somehow related with each other? Although not quiet sure, from what I had read of volume one of Allison, it’s war based. As for Lillia and Treize… I got zero idea…=D

Although funny thing about this… whole thing was that, I found the spring shows maybe around Sunday? It turn out it have something to do with the novel I ordered. After ordering my novels of Shinigami no Ballad and Ookami to Koshinryo, I thought might as well order whatever was left of the two series. To my surprise was that, Ookami to Koshinryo was so popular they were out of stock, month after month. I didn’t want to wait for it and order two books with shipping cast over ten dollars… yeah no way in hell is worth it. Since I like epic/journey type of story anyways, but Kino’s Journey 1-5 was out of stock so can’t order that so I ended up with Allison. So… yeah.. wow randomly picked out novel turn out to be spring anime… ahaha? I feel werid…. not only that, the series is animated by Madhouse and the main character, Allison is voice acted by mizuki nana…. ha? (Duster: HAHAHAHAHAHAH, it seems like you are secretly attracted to Fate (mizuki nana’s voice actor) Ensei: ….do you know how much I hate you?)

紅 is originally a novel and was later turn into manga, but the art is by the same artist of the insert pictures for the novels (which I think it’s pretty nice style). The anime’s character design reminded me of Baccano! mixed with Dennou Coil, the style isn’t bad (since it is done by the same company who did Baccano!), but I like the original manga style, hence the picture is from manga cover.

From what I read of the manga, it doesn’t really say much about the main plot, instead it have more of a chapter per story type of deal, which isn’t so bad. I’m just wondering how are they going to pull it off with only 13eps and still give enough background story to the main characters. Since if it goes well, they might add more episodes =D

(I forgot about this one) あまつき is a manga original, just found it recently and it’s pretty decent. The idea of it reminded me of 遙かなる時空の中で, a girl was send back in time or in a world she wasn’t familiar with, adding some demons and or curses. With Amatsuki instead of a girl, you get a boy. A story like that, lots of things can be done with it, but not many people can pull it off, mainly plot twist. Since I haven’t read all that much of the manga(because there aren’t that many volume that are published -only six-. plus the fact that the story really didn’t pick it up until at the end of volume four), so I’m not sure how Studio DEEN is going to pull this one off. Also, I don’t like Studio DEEN all that much, they screw up Fate/Stay Night, they done a horrible job on their original story Simoun, and now they are picking this sweet series (art wise)… I’m not sure if I can handle it…

Do I need to explain anything about this? It’s コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ R2, I mean if you seen the first season and loved it. This is a must see for the spring season. Oh, and sunrise, if you don’t screw this sequel up, I’ll forgive you with all your otome crap you dump on the world. Thank you.

隠の王.. i forgot if is novel original or manga, but I did read the manga all the way up to volume seven, and there are some interesting points to the story. It feels very CLAMP like… meaning it have typical shounen style of setup but still have some shoujo feel to it… maybe is the art style? Either way, looking forward to J.C. Staff’s new work.


Another novel original. Too bad, I know nothing about this and don’t really feel like wasting my time to look it up. So I’m just gonna say that the title caught my attention. 図書館戦争 (Library War)? Come on, so so much potential can be seen in this and is by Production I.G.

Three words: Animated by BONES
So yeah I’m happy about this manga original. BONES is good with stay on track of things, plus their animation is always very stable, unlike Gonzo. The anime can go pretty far, if they ever wanted to, since the manga is already at volume 11. So looking forward to this.

If you seen…. I believe is the OVA first ep of Macross Frontier (which aired like few month back) then you probably going to like this. The animation should be able to stay the same. I’m curious to see what the story can be, besides war… and machine fighting…

To tell you the truth… it really doesn’t matter if I watch this or not. I have all the xxxHolic manga that are available. To the people like CLAMP and Production I.G, then you probably will end up liking this anyway. I’m just going to look forward to the last OVA of Tsubasa Tokyo Revelation.

From the manga volumes that I had read of this, 我が家のお稲荷さま, it gives the story of the typical goddess/god of a fox/wolf come and protect the family of which this goddess/god held dear….. I really rather not see that, because it’s overly used and way too plain without any depth. Although since manga intent to trail off from the novels (yes, it’s originally a novel, and the picture above is from the novel) there might be hope.

Oh god… it’s by Gonzo…. They screw up Romeo and Juliet… they screw up Dragonaut… they… yeah alright I’ll stop here. This ドルアーガの塔 ～the Aegis of URUK～ isn’t their original story, so they MIGHT not screw it up… MIGHT… oh well whatever, we’ll just have to see.

Doesn’t this look like Gonzo trying to rip off from BONES’s Ouran High School Host Club? S.A. or Special A is really funny manga and i like it a lot. But god damn Gonzo for picking it up! I really hope they don’t screw it up… the style is too simple to screw it up…. please please don’t screw it up.

I’m not quite sure what this is, that’s why I’m curious… isn’t that a good reason =D

ヴァンパイア騎士 ok this is like the freaking well known manga out there… here in the US. But damn it isn’t that great of story, alright? I mean come on people, please stop reading something or watching something just because one of the character is hot or cute or whatever. Man I’m about to just take that picture i drew of Zero (one of the “bishi” in this fucking show) down in DA… some people’s comment really irritates me.

狂乱家族日記 知らないアニメ… Don’t know the story (I only know it suppose to be comedy), but god anything with the whole random “neko-mimi” crap need to stop. At least 我が家のお稲荷さま want to hide her… no wait, his… errr… ok wait, it! ears (or at least having trouble to). The one in this show just stick out in the open, and she does not look like a freaking cat…. Di Gi Charat anyone?
