Ensei:

They makes me laugh. Really, not joking. I met one, not officially face to face, but I met one last night. I love it how this person made me laughed so hard that I even forgot few of the specific questions I was going to ask him, about why s/he stolen my work off deviantart.

Although funny thing was that I wasn’t one bit pissed off about it. Since it’s a work uploaded on the net, ANYONE can take it and say is theirs without me knowing it. I mean for example, a person from deviantart randomly noted me about someone stolen my work and claim to be theirs. See, I don’t know about it, but others do. Come on people, it’s the internet, as long as the connection is working, you can find ANYTHING on there.

Well the reason I brought that up is because we (as in me, duster, and few of my friends) join the chat with this person, asking why did s/he claim my work to be his or hers. S/he said there was a good reason, so why not listen to it? So we did, and apparently according to her/him, s/he left deviantart because people stolen she/his works. Doesn’t that sounded a bit sketchy? So I pretended to understand. I’m actually pretty good at it, because until half way through he finally noticed one of us that was talking to her/him is the artist that s/he stole the work from. Though still didn’t know I was the one, which I though it’s funny as hell consider the fact that this person stolen the work from deviantart. Hello? same username? Wow some people are born dumb.

Well so we randomly chatted for awhile about how s/he can draw, but because no one believes her/him, s/he think it would be a great idea to stole other people’s work and claim to be his/hers and supposedly be revenge type of deal….. Alright, sure we’ll go with it. Then I asked her/him to show me something of the art s/he had done, something, anything, doesn’t matter what. First question from this person was do I read a manga called “100 ways of the exorcist.” I answered no, because the art sucks. Then second cames the question of, if I go to otakon. Of course not, as if I would go into a sea of crazy fan people. With those two questions he agreed to draw something. It turn out to naruto. Oh? Isn’t this interesting? I agreed that was fine, and so s/he sketched a quick drawing sasori and deidara. Oh, s/he was sketching it with a mouse too, in PAINT! Wow, I can’t even do that, this drawing must be great right?

well you can judge for your selves.
null
WOW, isn’t that impressive?? Damn I can’t even sketch that like in five minutes while talking to four other people! Man, I must be wrong about this person. I feel so ashamed orz……..
Fucking as if. You know, you fucking art thieves should fucking get a life. Because the life you are living now, it’s nothing but load of crap that you had putted on yourself. Really what is wrong with you? Stealing people’s work makes you feel better about yourself or something? Gets a few recognition off retarded fans from a fucking otakucon doesn’t know anything but overly hyped series or something? Ha? Please, don’t make me laugh. Just because I don’t go to a con, or follow the popular series, doesn’t mean I don’t know anything. I can recognize art style by looking at an image that’s only 100by100 pixels. After seeing that wonderful picture s/he drew, it took me about maybe 15mins to find this. I mean come on, doesn’t this picture look familiar?
null
Oh oh, it gets better. Here is the original art’s website =D

Lies on top of lies. Hilarious! Here, I’ll leave a message to that person which I did not get the chance to say because I was laughing too hard.

“aren’t you the smartest thing in the world? yes retard, you didn’t read it wrong and i didn’t type it wrong. It is indeed said thing, because you are about as low as a fucking anonymous object. Though since you did get some recognition through my work, I suppose your rank can be placed somewhere around the level of a fucktard.”

Wow, It isn’t the first time I heard about something like that happens. Really there’s people for all, weird and obxinous. ^^u A relief you’re such a philosophical calm person

That person seriously needs to get a life. That picture couldn’t have been done in paint in the first place. They must not have any real appreciation for art either because they only took 5 minutes to ‘draw’ the picture. Art like that takes far longer than a mere five minutes. That’s just messed up.

AHAHAHAHAHA!! ^__^; (<– that’s a tear from laughing so much, not a sweat mark)

I can’t stop laughing over this. It just seems more amusing the more I think about it. Wow, how stupid can this person be, to do this…? To claim it was his picture… He said he was doing it in Paint at first, and then after he sent the picture amended it to ‘Paintshop.’ I guess he realized that paint can’t do that kind of shading.

Not only that, but OH MY GOSH, I SEE SCAN LINES IN THAT PICTURE!!! *laughs again* He was supposedly at school because he got an after-school detention, and wasn’t supposed to even be chatting, but somehow he was able to scan in a picture and then color it within those five minutes? Wouldn’t getting up to scan something be rather conspicuous? And it’s not like he left the computer ever to have the time to do that. Not to mention he said he was going to DRAW it in Paint, not merely color it.

Best part of all though: you can see the lossy distortion around all the edges. Jpg files do that – the more you save over them, the more information gets lost, the more the edges will get this distorted field around them. So since he drew this right then and only save it once, it shouldn’t have any sort of distortion field around it, right? Right?

*laughs again* Oh, wow, his story is so full of holes I could fit Canada through it….!!!

I remember how Ensei sent me the link to this strange forum where this person ‘claimed’ her drawing as hi/hers. It was so hilarious to see that happening! At first I was thrilled because Ensei’s amazing point is being recognized here… yet what this person did just fucking pissed me off. Imagine how my face was laughing while my mind is just filled with bloody madness. Just like Ensei and Oseike said, artists tend to be very protective about their work. Although she didn’t care that much because art isn’t her concentration, I can feel that somewhat greater. Seeing all that effort is coined by some low stranger I couldn’t be more angrier.

So I wrote a ‘pleasant’ letter to this person when Ensei gave me the e-mail. In the meanwhile, Arlen wrote the same thing and it was damn more disgusting+nice letter than mine. Of course because of the pleasantness of the writing, that person ONLY replied to mine and said something like “you shouldn’t be such a jerk before you listen to my story”. HAHA, OK THEN!. The rest of the story is then up there. That’s probably the funniest moment ever with a stranger.

Seriously… this is just hilarious….

Sorry for the late late reply, busy with midterms.

Biru
yea, that is true, I think this happens a lot… at anywhere. so it isn’t a big deal, but I thought it might be fun to make fun of it. since it was the dumbiest thing I have ever seen. sorry, i should have said it was the most amusing moment talking to someone like this.

Chiyo
thank you for actually come all the way here to read it =D
also, be careful about yours too, those people steals without you knowing it.

Oseike
lol thanks. you know I might as well just post the chat we had that day on the blog when I have the time. I mean just like you said, it’s stupid…. but it is funny to read it.

duster
i agree, it was the funniest moment on the msn I have ever encountered.

Anything posted on the internet *can* be stolen, natch, but the fact is, *you* own the copyright. Anything you do creatively is yours and yours alone, whether or not you put it in the public domain, and even if you say that people can use it freely. Still is yours.

Die art thieves!

This is why we all should become a hacker. Take justice into our own hands…..mwahahahahaha!

..LoL! this mustve been really funny. And the fact that this person tried to front by posting that picture that isnt theirs again. It’s obviously japanese picture, but instead the words are replaced with “Meow”?.. LOL. Glad you didnt get pissed over this dumb person.

Oseike’s Sister
I believe I know of you, at least I heard Oseike talks about you whenever she said anything about the person who inspire her to draw. I think is you… I hope is you… or else i’ll get laugh at.
of course, yes I agree with you. I think the reason i wasn’t very irritated is because I didn’t like that drawing, well I think is more of the fact that people like that drawing too much it made me hate it. Their like isn’t what you would consider of appreciating the artist’s work. More of the like on the crazy fan base end.

WoS
… you know I WAS going to send this person a email or at least a link that would give him a virus…. but he responded to duster’s email, since i didn’t have time to write one at the time. So I didn’t get a chance to, sadly. It’s nice to know people that knows about programming =D

Koyote
I was talking to duster the other day, saying maybe i should post a post about “how to be come a better lier” or something like that, and using the conversation we had with this person as example, lol!! Though, that might be too cruel on my end.
